Manalapan is nestled within beautiful Western Monmouth County. Manalapan is also conveniently located 15 miles from the infamous Jersey Shore and only 45 miles south of New York City, an estimated 90 minute ride, making it the perfect residential living community for anyone seeking the solstice of suburban life after a day at the office. Manalapan Township maintains many parks and recreation facilities throughout the Township, but the Manalapan Recreation Center provides the widest variety of facilities, with many lighted for night usage. The park is also the site of “Manalapan Day,” an annual celebration that draws thousands of visitors.

Clark Mills Elementary School and Wemrock Brook School received high rankings on the 2013 New Jersey State Tests. In 2013 98 percent of students were found to be proficient in Language Arts at the Manalapan High School, while 91 percent of students were proficient in the standardized math tests. Students at Manalapan High School have the opportunity to take AP classes and have a college readiness index of 21.7. Manalapan High School (Home Of The Braves) has an estimated enrollment of 2,000 and is part of the greater Freehold School District, the state’s largest, which features six high schools.
